I have a Sony Hi-8 Analog Cam with 20x Optical - 128TRV.

I was wanting better optical. I bouht a 2x teleconverter very cheap as the
original order was brounght back - so I paid $21.00

I am finding the graphics really do not give me 40x Optical - but closer to
35x Optical - a person said something about width times leght (to
paraphrase math) and I would not know what he is talking about - just riht
now. That really you end up with 1.7 zoom. Probably true.



Still I do not feel ripped off because I picked it up at a bargain table at
a Camera Shop for $21.00 as it had been returned. So now my optical is 35x
instead of 20x - and for $21.00 - OK.

but i was wanting 2x through 20
