Firstly,

Thanks for all the suggestions and my commiserations for the poster who
had shuch bad luck with Markertek! I think I will avoid them. I have
had two quotes for this cable from reputable Oz sources. One was $75
and the other was $141! This seems rather steep, I think I just might
solder some coax cable to the PCB and take that to a SVIDEO connector -
that should cost me less than $10!
