Given that the store is often loaded with customers and
that many of the salespeople seem to go nonstop for hours
with only small breaks, it probably is true that the
legendary "New York Attitude" breaks through from time
to time.

Living in New York I try to get to B&H early, before the
crowds show up (but there are still folks there). I've
almost always found the sales people willing to take as
much time as I need -- and they don't push me in a direction
I don't want to go in.

While I'm by no means a big customer, I've done all my
purchasing there for years -- from film to cameras and
lenses.
