Right now specs the old codgers are in deep denial, (I'm entitled to say
so 'coz I'm an old codger too) droning on about latitude and the fact
that their lenses cost three times the price of a Z1. Meanwhile others
are just getting on with making programmes that might look 2% less than
the megabuck brigade to those nerdy enough to spot the difference, but
at 25% less cost. Having said that the Z1 when used to its full HD
potential needs no debate as to it's comparisons with any SD camera.

The improved production ergonomics of having everything needed for a
production in house, including the new breed of multitasking crafts
people who discredit the Ludites cry that craft skills are in decline,
something that is proving to be a myth. Good grief there's at least as
much poor craftwork revealed in the TV of the 70, 80's and 90's as there
is today. Reminds of 30 years ago when they swore blind that by now
you'd never be able to get your roof re-thatched or have a dry stone
wall built, that was also a myth perpetrated by the vested interest
groups.
