try the free working downloads, they are fully functional, but until
you pay for an unlocking code, you will get an extra line added to your
copy every five lines or so.

I really like it's uncomplicated interface, the fact it doesn't require
dongles that break at the worst time, the ease of editing, (it works
just like a word processor). It runs on ANY windows platform, old or
new. An old 486 laptop can run it. You have multiple methods for speed
control, the mouse, the space bar, the arrow keys, etc.. I have worked
with much more expensive prompting software that doesn't do any more
than this, and not even as well or simply. Bonus features like
generating credit rolls and scrolls and countdowns with bars, etc. are
handy extras the others don't give you.

For a handheld controller, I use a 20-dollar ringmouse, a sort of
mini-trackball you hold in your hand like the trigger of a gun, your
thumb controls the ball for speed control. TigerDirect used to sell
them.
