John,
You are correct about no one having the right to decide but the copyright
holder
but realistically how will these laws be enforced?
We currently have illegal drug laws also, yet do people still buy sell and
use illegal drugs?
Aren't prisons over flowing with drug crimes? Like prohibition, if laws are
hard to enforce because
the public doesn't respect them, then authorities have a tough time
enforcing them.

That is why I believe the industry failed in being fast to the table with
legal online music and caused
people to get used to free online downloads, somethings are hard to reverse
once the cat has been let out of the bag.

But I definitely agree with you about the legality.
