I am going to agree with Smarty. Download a trial copy.

He likes Ulead.

I tried Ulead and found it very un-friendly. Yes, that was about 2
releases ago. But as someone that was in the broadcast industry and
was a nationally known computer multimedia expert before multimedia
became a popular term, I found Ulead to not work well at all.

My advice? Download the trial copy of Pinnacle Studio 10.

After rebates the base product is $49, "Plus" is $79 and "Media Suite"
is $99.
