That is exactly my point. We haven't lost any content because of
archaic formats. As I said I still have a Wolensak R2R tape recorder.
However, because of the government mandate, we're going to loose NTSC
as a video source, just because it's not going to make sense to keep it
around. (i.e. manufacturers continuing to put NTSC ports on devices.)
Yes, I think something similar can be said about R2R tape, but I think
it's a totally different scenario.
