We have a setup that does it.
A fancy attachment to the camera which has a mirrored cone shape that allows
the whole 360 of the room to be photographed in one hit.
The software to make it into the surround picture.
Can be done by stitching lots of carefully taken stills but it's a lot of
work to make it look nice that way.
