I can only state my experience, which as been very positive. I didn't
attack or flame anyone. But, there was inuendo by others at my expense.

IF that was the case, why not speak out.

I, and many others have been treated very fairly by Pinnacle.

All the gripes and complaints (which I do remember vaguely reading back
then) were a long time ago. A lot of people wanted continual free
upgrades to Premiere, etc. How LONG is a company suppose to support a
product? To continue to carry that ball and chain of the '90's while we
are in the 2000's without evaluating anything new (even try the trial
editions, and continuing to label the company as bad is not being
accurate at this date and time. Again, I have said "go to the forums and
read for yourself, see the videos people are doing", to be answered with
"why. Way back when, Pinnacle sucked big time. I am not wasting my
time". Yet, these very people "waste their time" making posts about an
experience that happened how many YEARS ago? And they do this for YEARS!
If they were talking about Liquid Edition, I can see. And, as for Studio
10, I have passed on that upgrade because of all the problems I have
read about, not the rants with no information. Avid has come up with a
lot of fixes for the product. Is it stable? I don't know. I am going the
Avid Liquid upgrade route instead.
I got more than my money's worth with the DV500 and all the free
upgrades. Liquid has cost more. It does more. And now, it will cost
again with the v7 upgrade. I don't mind, it's a write-off for me, has
the features that I want, and I will continue to make money with it.
