Hello Everyone,

I'm producing a video for my son's sports banquet that includes still
images and video (DV from a few different people). All the video was
burned to either CD or DVD prior to being given to me, so I'm assuming
all video was shot with a mini-DV camera.

One of the CDs had all the video pre-clipped into segments that I just
imported into Premier. There were two DVDs that I cut clips from using
Womble MPEG Video Wizard, and then imported those .mpg files into
Premier.

I've imported all the video, set it to music, transitions, etc., and
have it all completed. Playing it through on the computer looks
perfect. When I select export in Premier Pro 1.5, and export to DVD,
I'm using the NTSC DV 4x3 High Quality 7mb CBR 1 pass preset, and
burning it out to DVD.

Most of the video looks fine, then about 12 minutes into the 15 minute
video, the video clips look very choppy, almost like the frames are out
of sync. The audio still sounds fine, and the still pictures look
fine.

I'm not understanding why the video would look fine earlier in the DVD,
and then so choppy later on. I believe I captured the video the same
way for each clip, when I created clips from the CDs and DVDs that were
given to me.

So my questions are:

1) What is causing this?

2) What can I do to correct it? Assuming I somehow made a mistake and
captured the video using different settings (I used Womble MPEG Video
Wizard), what can I do as I export to DVD to correct this?

Lastly, what is the best practice for creating simple DVDs of sporting
events, etc... in other words, what should I be doing as a matter of
practice on each clip that is imported to ensure that everything plays
smoothly (i.e. is there a particular method that should be used to
create clips from DVD or from DV? Should I apply a specific filter to
each clip to make sure they are all compatible in the finished product,
etc)?

Thanks very much!!!
