If you are lucky you could re-tension the springs on the jack, but I
will bet you the jack is covered in plastic. If not, just bend them
back. There is no harm in giving it a try... the important part is
knowing when to say UNCLE and put the camera back together. You can buy
parts from Sony, but you need to be honest about your soldering skills
and have an iron that won't melt everything else.

Send it in, move on, and make money.
