Hi Teresa,

Here are my observations using Studio V8 and PowerDirector 5.
PD 5 captured video from my Hi-8 camcorder at the HQ setting (720x480)
where the the free Studio V8.x that came with my ATI AIW card could not
without dropping alot of frames. Also, rendering is much faster with
PD5 compared to Studio 8. I just wish they had a simple "burn DVD
without menus" setting. I'd like to get all my Hi-8 tapes to DVD the
without the fancy-schmancy stuff. They both crash without much
warning, although PD5 has been giving me fits trying to use their
"Magic Clean" option. From your post it looks like I should try
Ulead's offering. What didn't you like with Adobe's Elements?
