On this specific PC I have 6 video editors, 5 DVD authoring programs, many
pieces of video shareware, 5 slideshow creation programs, and tons of
photography tools on this machine and hardly consider it a "perfect
environment" (to use your phrase). The number of codecs (44), burners (4),
and PCI cards (5) is as far from a basic machine as you can get. If your
latest interpretation of your original post now claims that Video Studio 9
is "finicky" and runs well only "perfect" machines, I would say that you are
full of crap.
