Specs,
I've purchased all of these products. I am strongly opposed to stealing
software. I enjoy using and comparing these products, and find that each of
them has specific features and functions which make them worth retaining. I
have seven computers here in my studio, and use some of the software on
dedicated boxes for specific tasks. Maybe you think I am a c**t but I make
tons of money with this approach. To you this may not be smart, but you are
entitled to your own opinion.
I've purchased these products over the last 7 years, and have updated the
NLEs specifically to handle HDV editing, which most of them handle poorly.
My specific comments regarding Ulead Video Studio 9 for HDV editing arise
specifically from this experience.
I react strongly when somebody trashes a product when they have not used it
or evaluated it. I believe this is the case with the original poster but am
not certain. I am quite certain that those who does use it Ulead VS9 for HDV
editing will be very impressed with its' speed and performance compared to
the other products I've compared it to.
