Nappy,

I share your opinion that FCP is vastly over-rated, as is the Mac in general
for video editing, all things considered. My original complaint regarding
Richard Crowley's attack on my Ulead recommendation arises from one simple
issue........he does not have the direct insight or experience to compare
HDV editing software.

If he had HDV editing software expertise, I would have let his comment lie,
even though it was a apparently intended to reflect his opinions about
"finicky" computers, older Ulead products, or something he now says is not
specifically related to UV9 performance.

My intention is not to win an argument here. My intention is to give a good
product a bit of respect when it rightfully deserves it.
