I am looking for recommendations on a tripod that would be good for a
professional production that requires I am on the road more than I
should be with a PD170.

I will be travelling mostly in the third world and therefore I'd prefer
something light and solid but nevertheless something that has a good
fluid type head for pans and tilts. No money is an issue but still I
have a budget for a "professional" tripod!!
