 My experience here is that the TVs are usually much better than the signal
 they get. In most of the large stores the signal I see on the TVs is simply
 horrible. Which makes for a nice surprise when you finally connect it to a
 good HD connection.
 
 Many reasons for that.. distribution to a lot of TVs , starting with a
 standard signal to begin with.. etc..
