I would like to be able to apply an audio effect (say Wave Hammer) to
different events with different settings. I see that Vegas 6 only appears
to be able to set up an audio effect for a track or bus, whereas a video
effect can be applied to an event.

The ways I can see to do this are:
1) Put the different audio events on different tracks.
2) Use automation to control the effect settings.
3) Use non-real-time event effects.

All of these have draw-backs, so I wondered if I had missed something!

Any help from Vegas users would be appreciated.
