Specs,

On the PC, I own and use 6 NLEs because each offers special advantages and
does certain things particularly well. It also allows me to intelligently
compare and critique them and form opinions based on actual use. Four of the
six cost below another $100 apiece.

If you think this is a sign of immaturity or inexperience, I can only reply
as another (to borrow your exact phrase) "straight talker which is
refreshing in this age of internet bullshitters" that you are either
immature, inexperienced, or both.
