JCA:
Good afternoon Richard Crowley, Thanks for the response. I'll try not to be
a total idiot.

Yes it seems to capture alright, other than I haven't yet addressed the lack
of audio problem, because I want to get the video in the MovieCaptureWindow
problem solved first.

Well, you see? There you go! I had no way of knowing that this could be the
case.

As soon as I am finished responding to your very nice (and prompt) response,
I will be going to the Light/VusicStudio and seeing if this is the problem.

Still this doesn't solve the problem of not being able to see the video that
I want to capture in the MovieCaptureWindow. Any ideas about THAT?

One of the things that Matrox says in its RT2500 User's Manual is that I may
have to set up an "RT2500 Profile" that eliminates a bunch of devices that
are sharing IRQ-9 (there are a bunch of them). I could supply you with a
list, but it will take getting it off of TheScorcher.

Well, Richard... This is a start. Right now, I'm in the process of striping
five new MiniDV Cassettes.

I'll fill you in on the whole scene here as we go along, and you can rest
assured that I certainly do appreciate your efforts in helping me get this
sorted out.

Again, thanks for the response, and I hope you are well.

Regards,

Allison.
