If your heart is set on a traditional type swticher, maybe a used Sony
FX-1 or it's successor would float your boat. All in one unit, even
includes a tiny 4-track audio mixer, has keyers, inputs for a CG, take
buttons without the momentary "hiccup" the cheapass consumer switchers
have., plus real mix effects, wipes, fades, the standards. I *believe*
these also auto-synch inputs, at least the analog ones.
