That all sounds great. If I try to use Encore for the transcoding I
get an error saying something is less than 2mb (I think it's 2meg, it
could have been 2gig - sorry, I can't check as I'm at work).

The files I used I exported from Premiere as AVI DV and are massive
(over 22gb for the total 8 files and 90mins). Could that have caused a
problem?

Shame there's not some option in encore to simply reduce them all down
so they fit perfectly on the 4.7gb dvd with my menu.
