The big network trucks I've looked up have a couple of DXC-3000s 
just for these "throw-away" locked-down scoreboard timer shots. 
OTOH, those are my primary cameras!  :-) 
 
The NBA looks like they've been using lipstick cams taped to the 
(clear glass) backboard framing to get those slam-dunk POV 
shots. But when I've been scanning channels recently, it looks like 
those backboad POV cameras are remote-controlled nowdays?
