Yeah, doesn't surprise me. There used to be a show called Ask the 
Manager on WSBK-38 in Boston, one of the early superstations, that had 
good ratings with Hogan. "The show has legs", said manager Dan Berkery. 
I remember him announcing on ATM that they would switch from 3/4" to 1" 
versions of Hogan on a certain date, and difference was dramatic! 
 
What a weird show, Hogan. I thought it was cute, harmless, enjoyable, 
but a lot of people opposed it as gloifying the Nastys. 
 
"No one touches the girl..." 
 
I inherited about 1200 3/4" tapes of local programming. Someday, I'll 
digitize it. 
 
At the news network where I work (mostly server, but BetaCam until 
recently) we have ONE 3/4" broadcast deck, in a dub rack.
