One reason someone might think the jump from DVD to HDTV is so
huge would be that they may have just gotten a new HDTV to go
along with it. The difference between it and an old analog TV
is mind-boggling. The difference between DVD to HDTV on an HDTV
doesn't seem (at first) to be a jump on the level of going from
VHS to DVD on an analog set. But once people start really looking
at it, the differences are quite apparent.
