You've taken the discussion from personal opinions to guessing what maybe
somebody else might think, which is pointless. But your example doesn't even
illustrate your stated hypothesis, because this imaginary person is
intrigued by "all the hullabaloo"-- which means he's already heard plenty
about the show. By that time, what would it matter what the reviewer thinks
of the show itself?

Just tell me whether the studio put out a decent product. I'll decide
whether I like it or not.
