Are they hooked up with the antenna connections, or with the
audio/video connections?
Yes, you can do it, but there's a trade-off. If you use the antenna
connections the video quality suffers. If you want to use the
audio/video connections (or S-VHS connections or RGB connections)
you'll have to get a switch box of some sort.

I think Paul got that one, if you're talking about commercial tapes.
If they're tapes you recorded, there's a problem somewhere.
