Well as for Freud, these days he really is considered a bit of a period
piece, identifying the psycho-zeitgeist of the 1890's to 1920's dealing with
frigid women in Vienna and uptight rigid males, you know the stiff upper lip
types and the typical and dangerous posture military males assume - chest
out and a rigid back - a chiropractors delight in old age! I digress, but in
2005 Freud doesn't have much relevance. A good historical figure in the
development of psychoanalysis along with Adler and even Reich.
I don't think you could afford the airfare down to the South Pacific nor
cope with the relaxed lifestyle but I could fit you in for an appointment
early next year? We don't charge as much as US psychoanalysts...
