This is true of my ilo (made by Lite-on), at least, you can't at "high
speed" duplicating. I guess if you wanted to re-record it in real
time, you could do more compression.

HQ approx 1 hr per DVD
SP approx 2 hrs per DVD
LP approx 3 hrs per DVD
EP approx 4 hrs per DVD
SLP approx 6 hrs per DVD
On Lite-on recorders, there is another setting for 7 hrs per DVD
