I know nothing abut the ilo, but the Cyberhome is the worst engineered product
I have ever bought. I won't go into all the details but, for instance, except
for the 1 and 2 hour recording modes, the Cyberhome will not record the
full duration of any other mode. The 4 hour mode is 3 hours 50 minutes, and
similarly for the other modes. You can adapt to this anomaly but it isn't
always convenient. Another problem is that every once in a while the Cyberhome
writes over the disk ID on +RW disks rendering the disk totally worthless:
nothing can recognize the disk, even the Cyberhome. One last problem:
if you write something to a +RW disk and remove the disk without finalization
the Cyberhome is unable to deal with the disk thereafter. That means you
cannot use a series of disks to accumulate different programs over time.
While it is true that the 1600 costs little over a dvd burner, I suggest
you continue looking.
