Paul, I await the answer to your question vis a vis finalizing between
BRANDS of DVD recorder with interest. I am satisfied that this can be done
between different models of Panasonic HDD recorders because I've done it.
The first time I tried, I had made a two thirds full disk (DVD-R) on a
Panasonic E85 .I then attempted to finalize it on a EH100 in another city.
My heart sank when I saw "Finalizing Failed." I omitted to say that I had
tried to title the disk on the second machine.
Disk integration was good, it played the same on both machines. So I
persevered and kept putting it in to finalize. On the second pass it did.
The title I had previously entered though did NOT appear. Regards, Denzil.
