 Nah, just using it on the machine itself. so simple just to nip in
 there and delete something from two days ago or whatever. I had done
 quite a bit of test recording but during this found a couple of
 programs I liked enough to record all of. so after checking the
 solidity of the recording and how well/badly stuff worked I was able
 to remove the progs I didn't want and keep the ones I did. I gather
 the panasonic does similar stuff but on dvd-ram rather than dvd-rw
