I am currently using a Vstream card to capture video from old VHS and
previously encoded DVDs(of captured video).

The Vstream card is dropping frames like crazy and I have to post-process
the captured video to get the audio and video in sync.

I don't want to go for my lungs, but I ma willing to spend a little more
money on a good, sound capture card.

Any suggestions?
