Going off at a tangent -
It's easy enough to hide adverts on the HD so you don't have to watch
them - but what about when you copy to DVD?
When I tried that, it copied over the hidden chapters too, this using up
unnecessary space. AFAICS, the only way around it is to completely cut
out the adverts, merge the sections of programs together, *then* copy to
DVD.
Is there a more efficient method of removing adverts from what you copy
to DVD?
