I would to know:- are DVDs always copy-protected or only ones containing pictures movies
 are?
 - all DVDs featuring pictures movies are protected?
 - is copy protection system always CSS or do other systems exist?
 - how can I know if a DVD is protected and which protection has it?
 - do ripping softwares by-pass only CSS or other copy protection systems
 too?
 - are ripping softwares always needed, or only with protected DVDs?
i.e.: in case of non protected DVDs can I simply copy VIDEO_TS folder as
it is on my hard disk, or better make a direct disc-to-disc copy (as
 with audio CDs)?
Thanks and excuse me for my english (I am italian)
