Hey floks,

I need some expert advice. I want to transfer video from VHS to DVD.
(non-copyrighted) I want to get the best signal possible. Here is my
question.

How much better does the Panasonic DMR-ES30V do at high quality
transfers, compared to my new JVC SVHS VCR and my good Pioneer DVD
Recorder. Specifically, does the "Dual Deck Recorder" do a much better
job than my two units will do by way of a SVHS cord and audio cords? I
have read something about the resolution of the Panasonic will be 500
lines! Is this kind of resolution possible using two units and cables?
Right now, I am only getting mediocer results.

Advice greatly appreciated.
