Read that the Senate has set April 7, 2009 as a hard date
for broadcasters to stop analog broadcasting. The House
had set their digital date as Dec 31, 2008. A compromise
may be between the 2 dates' difference of 4 months.

No details on how consumers will get a "break" for the
necessary converter boxes for the analog sets.
