 No, not RF.  I started with the component, then tried the S-Video,
 then tried the composite video.
 
 I don't as much mind the color shift as I do the noise in the picture.
 It looks like analog noise, light wavy lines that are sometimes hard
 to see unless it's a dark or black image (really shows up on
 letterboxing).  It's even there if I pull all the inputs from the DVD
 recorder, so I know it's something that the recorder is outputting.
 Normally I'd say maybe it was cable interference but on every cable???
