hello to everyone,
i'm trying to record dvds from my directv tivo to my sony
rdr-vx500 and i'm having
problems. i'm trying to record monsters inc. the video portion records
fine. but there are very
noticable clicks and pops every minute or so in the audio portion. does
this have to do with
write-protection? i'm using memorex dvd-r discs. if i record live tv to
dvd, like the weather
channel, it seems to clear-up the problem. i'm new to all this dvd
stuff so any help will be
appreciated. what type dvd disc would be best for what i'm trying to
do (dvd-r dvd+r etc) ?
