Actually what I meant is, if a laptop I am interested in purchasing has a
DVD burner but no separate CD or CD burner, will I be able to use the
built-in DVD burner the way I would use a CD burner (burn data from the HD
to a CD)? The salesman told me all DVD burners can also burn to CDs and I
was trying to verify if he told me the truth.
I did not mean transferring video data from a DVD to a CD.
