What can I say about Kworld? To me they are the poor mans best device
ever made - but alas made in Taiwan with no supporting documentation in
understandable English. Read one guys response about the Kworld where he
says it sits on the shelf - I would advise you to contact him and see how
much he would sell it to you for - it is that good - but a pain to learn
 because in Chinese.

It equals or exceeds any ATI product - I have an ATI Xtasy 256 meg AGP
card - but my TV-Card would never be anything other than a Kworld as it
has a built-in MPEG2 encoder chip and does not need software to compress
 MPEG2/DVD.

As for as USB vs PCI - always use PCI as USB even with 2.0 still needs to
communicate with the Processor. Someone said something about a fast
processor. My Kworld has been around since my P2 days of a 266mHz when I
could only handle VCD until now with my P4 which handles DVD in a breeze
 - so I guess that is why I like it so much - extremely dependable and I
can see no end to it - btw - might as well get the TV-tuner with it -
 just about $5.00 more.

Kworld does not sell direct. Their site is www.kworld.com.tw and is OK
now - but they really need a good English/Chinese translator. I believe
Tiger Direct handles everything they sell. Links available from Kworld
 where to buy them though.

Hope you become a Kworld junkie!!
