 I started this thread a couple of weeks ago and appreciate all of the
 comments .. good, bad and ugly.
 
 No one wants to intentionally throw money away on a bad product, but I agree
 with Evieg. We are talking about very little money here. Kworld has a
 product called Xpert DVD Maker which is a PCI capture card (no tuner) for
 $30 at Fry's Electronics (go to www.outpost.com and search the site for
 'kworld'). And, if you're lucky enough to live near an electronics
 superstore, like Fry's, located mostly in the West / Southwest USA, you can
 examine the product and return it right to the store if it doesn't perform.
 
 On the subject of understanding the instruction manual, I wonder how hard
 Chinese is to learn?
