Pity NEC Australia don't sell these here.

More and more are at last moving to DVD-RAM read and write in their
DVD Burners. Quite a few manufacturers have write support for DVD-RAM
in DVD stand alone recorders. Long over due as DVD-RAM is so much more
robust and better to use than DVD-RW/+RW is.

DVD-RW/+RW in a recorder take take some time before its ready to
record where DVD-RAM its only a second or two after placing the disc
it before I can record.
