Get the latest firmware, version 5.40. Also inquire about the latest
front end servo f/w.

Get a UEIC "One For All" URC 8910.

Call UEIC for an over-the-phone upgrade to CyberHome 1600. Then use
the learning capability to assign missing keys. I was able to get
every key I need onto the 8910. Plus you can use "Keymove" to cause a
key to do the same thing no matter which mode you are in. For example,
no matter what mode, the Volume keys (+, -. mute) always control the
TV. And I keymoved Guide to the TV so that no matter what mode is
active I always get the Guide.

Amazon.com has it for $20 or Best Buy for $30.
