Uh - what will work best with Shrink? Well, you don't really need a piece of
software to work with it, just hardware! (yea okay, you can set Decrypter
and Nero to)
Well, bits of other software you'll definitely want are:
DVD Decrypter - Probably the best ripper there is, no longer maintained.
Also can be used to burn Image files generated by Shrink.
DVD Fab Decrypter - Defeats protection that the above cannot(esp Sony), not
as comprehensive - only rips to folders.
DVD43 - Running this in the background may eliminate region protection etc.
All are free. Use www.videohelp.com for guides on backups etc.
If you get Nero bundled with your computer, you may want to use Nero Recode
instead of Shrink, it's a little faster, by the same author and does the
same job. You will however need to run DVD43 in the background.
HTH, Merry Xmas
