Hello, I have a DRM 10 SEK dvd recorder which is aprox. 1 year old and out
of warrenty but has only been used for aprox. 4 - 5 hours recording and I am
experiancing crackling and hissing on the tuner side of it, playing a dvd is
fine, it is only on the tuner side. I have found that unplugging from the
mains supply for a couple of minutes seems to fix the fault/problem for a
while then it will re-occur, any advise on the matter will be much
appreciated. Could it be static build up in the tuner? I have re-tuned both
dvd and jvc television, changed all the cables and relocated the unit but
still no joy.
