 And I believe I gave you a valid solution. Did you try it out?
 
 VRD will extract the clips as MPGs and make sure they are
 DVD-compliant.
 
 VRD will let you join the clips into one MPG.
 
 VRD will also let you edit out footage.
 
 If you want to compose a DVD with a menu, you will need an authoring
 tool which imports MPGs and outputs DVD-compliant VOBs in the proper
 directory structure. That's where TDA comes in.
 
 Or you could use WinAvi, but there are no menus.
