It appears that there are some networked DVD players available as
standalone units in the affordable price range. GoVideo, Gateway and
some other manufacturers are selling them now.

The reviews have not been all that good because they are still being
developed. If you like playing beta test site, here's a chance to be
on the bleeding edge of a technology that is likely to dominate the
home entertainment scene.

Acquire the content on your computer as MPGs by whatever means
available and play it directly on your TV with the networked DVD
player. No more burning DVDs.

Does anyone have any direct experience with a networked DVD player?
