Panasonic E95

The automatic clock seems to be running a day behind. When I have PDC
'off' and try and set the timer for a programme for say 10:00 am on 8
Jan 2006 - the machine fails to record.

If I put the PDC function 'on' then the E95 records OK - I guess
because the PDC function overrides the clock date/time.

When I looked at the automatic clock setting the toggle was set to 'on'
but the day date displayed was one day behind. Where does the Panny get
the time and date from? It seems that this is one day late.

I have now had to switch the automatic clock setting to 'off' and
manually set the date to the correct date.

But this is annoying. This only started to happen just before
Christmas. In fact the E95 failed to record Dr Who whilst I was
visiting relatives due to this.

Could it be that the Panny thinks 2006 is a leap year?

Many thanks - CJB.
